The Bryant Center Association (BCA) is now in its seventh year serving at-risk youth, young adults, and their families. The outdoor basketball court has been opened since 1966!
We provide positive activities and assistance such as academic, life skills training, physical (sports), as well as social and moral guidance. Programs run throughout the entire year. Our outdoor basketball and recreation facility is located on 24th & Burdette Streets. BCA office and technology center is located at 2417 Grant Street (directly adjacent to the outdoor facility).
2014 was definitely a defining year for the BCA organization…thanks to your help, were one of four non-profit organizations nationwide recognized and awarded a “complete cleanup” of the recreational facility by the “Queen Latifia”/ Johnson and Johnson Scrubbing Bubbles organizations, as making a defining difference in the community! The Condors Drum Corps raised funds to travel and participate in the annual Las Vegas parade. The sport of tennis was introduced to 25+ neighborhood kids. We continued offering the Living Well Golf and Life Skills programming to neighborhood schools. New innovative Infinite 8 Program emphasizing Self Esteem, Entrepreneurship, Confidence, Success, and making Right Choices, is up and running. BCA's participation in the 4th annual Xmas in the Village celebration was (as usual) a big draw for neighborhood families. We did it with the help of caring individuals like you!
Please, consider a gift that will allow us to continue to address the recreational, educational, and emotional support of the multi-cultural needs of our North Omaha at-risk youth. We are in an exciting period of making positive changes in the community…to continue, we do need your financial support. Whatever the amount of your donation for the kids this year…THANK YOU.
